Just like his character in the Terminator films, Arnold Schwarzenegger keeps coming back for more. The action star and former governor of California is reportedly mulling a run for the White House, despite the fact he's completely unqualified.
The New York Post has the scoop,
Schwarzenegger, who was born in Austria and became a United States citizen in 1983, must file a legal challenge to the constitutional provision that says the president must be a “natural born citizen.” If the actor-politician’s aspirations are sincere, he’ll have to succeed in amending a centuries-old law.
In addition to changing that pretty important clause, Schwarzenegger would also have to overcome his poor polling. When the "governator" left office in January 2011, he achieved a mere 22 percent approval rating. Not exactly winning numbers for someone hoping to win the highest office in the nation. But, if anyone can do it, I suppose it would be the Terminator.
Do you think Schwarzenegger should put his name on the ballot? Or should he stick to the silver screen?http://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2013/10/19/boom-roasted-colbert-slams-gov-cuomo-and-the-pope-at-al-smith-dinner-n1727373
